Product Details

The Weave Sisal Cat Scratcher Bed gives your cat a woven sisal surface to scratch that also works as a comfy place to lounge. Cats often like to scratch right after they wake up, so a pad that doubles as a bed puts the right surface exactly where they need it and helps keep claws away from your rugs and couch.

Will it last? The reusable sisal weave holds up to regular scratching, and some fibre shedding as it wears is normal. Is it comfortable to sleep on? The nest-like shape gives your cat a spot to curl up between scratching sessions, and many cats end up treating it as a favourite napping spot. Which size? Choose from three small styles or two large styles, depending on your cat's size and how much room you have, and size up for big cats who like to stretch.

Worried your cat will ignore it? Place it near their favourite sleeping spot or beside the couch they target, and sprinkle a little catnip on the surface for a quick win. It sits flat on the floor, on a window seat or beside the sofa, and the natural tones suit most homes. The Small B and Large B options are made to order, so please allow extra delivery time for those. Easy 30-day returns, and we cover return shipping if your order arrives faulty or damaged.

Questions about this product

How is this different from a cardboard scratcher?
Woven sisal is firmer and lasts longer than cardboard, and the nest shape means your cat can scratch, then curl up in it.
What do the style names mean?
Small, Small A and Small B are small sizes in different weaves; Large and Large B are the bigger versions. The photos on this page show each.
Is it reusable?
Yes. Sisal wears slowly, so vacuum loose fibres now and then and it keeps going.
Where should I put it?
On the floor, on a window seat or beside the sofa, near where your cat already likes to scratch or rest.
Why do some options say made to order?
Small B and Large B are made when you order, so they can take longer to arrive. Your tracking email shows the latest estimate.
Is shipping free on this item?
Yes. Every Nested Pets order ships free across Australia with tracking, with no minimum spend. You will get a tracking number by email as soon as it leaves the warehouse.
What if it is not right for my pet?
You have 30 days from delivery to return it. Change-of-mind returns need to be unused and in the original packaging, and you cover the postage back to us. If it arrives faulty or damaged we replace or refund it and cover the return shipping.
