Product Details
The Pivot Sisal Cat Scratching Ball gives your cat a scratcher and a toy in one compact piece. A ball wrapped in natural sisal sits on a wooden base, so your cat can scratch, swat and roll it while it stays put. It is a fun alternative to a tall post for smaller homes.
Will it slide around when my cat plays? The wooden base keeps the ball steady during energetic play sessions. Will it actually save my couch? Cats scratch to stretch, keep their claws in shape and leave their scent, so giving them a dedicated spot right beside the furniture they target helps steer them away. Sisal is a classic scratching material because its rough texture gives claws something satisfying to grip. Is it big enough for an adult cat? It suits kittens and adult cats, and the compact size means it fits in apartments too.
Worried your cat will ignore it? Place it near where your cat sleeps or beside the couch they like to target, and rub a pinch of catnip into the sisal to catch their interest. Praise them when they use it. Some fibre shedding is normal as the sisal wears. The natural brown tones sit neatly in most homes. Easy 30-day returns, and we cover return shipping if your order arrives faulty or damaged.

Questions about this product
Why a ball instead of a post?
The ball lets your cat scratch at different angles while it turns, and the wooden base keeps it compact, so it fits in small spaces where a tall post would not.
Is shedding normal?
Yes. Natural sisal sheds a little fibre as it wears. Vacuum around it now and then.
How do I get my cat to use it?
Put it near where they already scratch, rub a pinch of catnip into the sisal and praise them when they use it.
What is it made of?
Natural sisal wrapped around a core, on a wooden base. It comes in brown.
Does it suit kittens?
Yes. It suits kittens and adult cats, and it is a good way to start kittens on scratching the right thing early.
Is shipping free on this item?
Yes. Every Nested Pets order ships free across Australia with tracking, with no minimum spend. You will get a tracking number by email as soon as it leaves the warehouse.
What if it is not right for my pet?
You have 30 days from delivery to return it. Change-of-mind returns need to be unused and in the original packaging, and you cover the postage back to us. If it arrives faulty or damaged we replace or refund it and cover the return shipping.
