Product Details

The Splash Shark Fin Dog Life Jacket adds buoyancy and a bit of fun to beach days, boat trips and swims at the lake. The playful fin on the back gets plenty of smiles, while the vest-style design wraps around your dog's body to help them float and feel more confident in the water.

Does my dog need one if they can already swim? Even strong swimmers tire in open water, rough surf or on long days out, and a life jacket gives them extra support. Is it easy to spot my dog? Bright rose and blue colours help you keep an eye on them when they swim further out. Not sure about the size? Measure your dog's chest and back length and compare with the size chart. Sizes run from XS to XXL, with blue available from XS to L, and the jacket fastens around the chest and belly.

Let your dog wear it at home for a few minutes first so they get used to the feel, and check that it sits snugly without rubbing. A life jacket is a swimming aid, not a substitute for supervision, so always stay close while your dog is in or near water and never leave them unattended. Rinse it in fresh water after the beach and hang it to dry. Easy 30-day returns, and we cover return shipping if your order arrives faulty or damaged.

Questions about this product

How do I choose the size?
Measure your dog's chest at its widest point and check the size table on this page. Sizes run XS to XXL, with blue available from XS to L.
Does it replace supervision?
No. It is a swimming aid that helps your dog float and gives you a grab handle, but you still need to stay close whenever they are in or near water.
How does it fasten?
With chest and belly straps that adjust for a snug fit. Check that you can fit two fingers under each strap.
How do I care for it?
Rinse it in fresh water after the beach or pool to get rid of salt and chlorine, then hang it to dry out of direct sun.
Which colours are there?
Rose and blue, both with the shark fin on top.
Is shipping free on this item?
Yes. Every Nested Pets order ships free across Australia with tracking, with no minimum spend. You will get a tracking number by email as soon as it leaves the warehouse.
What if it is not right for my pet?
You have 30 days from delivery to return it. Change-of-mind returns need to be unused and in the original packaging, and you cover the postage back to us. If it arrives faulty or damaged we replace or refund it and cover the return shipping.
