Product Details

The Hop 2-Step Pet Stairs help small dogs, older pets and cats get up onto the bed or couch without a big jump. Repeated leaps on and off furniture can be hard on little legs, and soft steps give your pet an easier way up while keeping them close to you at night or during movie time.

Will they hold their shape? The steps are made from high-density foam, which keeps them firm under paws yet light enough to move around the house. Will they suit my furniture? Two steps suit most standard couches and lower beds, so measure the height of your seat or mattress before ordering and choose the three-step version for taller beds. Worried about hair and accidents? The cover is removable for washing, and the detachable design makes cleaning and storing easier.

What if my pet will not use them? Place the stairs flush against the furniture, then guide your pet with a treat on each step for the first few tries. Many pets get the hang of it within a day or two. They suit dachshunds, small breeds and senior pets who still want to snuggle with the family. Supervise young puppies on the steps at first. Easy 30-day returns, and we cover return shipping if your order arrives faulty or damaged.

Questions about this product

Which pets are these for?
Small dogs, senior pets and cats who need help getting onto a sofa or low bed. Dachshunds and other long-backed breeds benefit from using steps rather than jumping.
What are they made of?
High-density foam with a removable, washable cover, so they are light to move and soft if your pet misjudges a step.
How tall is the top step?
Check the dimensions on this page against your sofa or bed height. The 2-step version suits lower furniture; see our 3-step version for higher beds.
Will my pet use them?
Most pets learn within a day or two. Place a treat on each step and stand beside them the first few times. Supervise young puppies at first.
Can I wash the cover?
Yes. Unzip it, wash on a gentle cycle and air dry.
Is shipping free on this item?
Yes. Every Nested Pets order ships free across Australia with tracking, with no minimum spend. You will get a tracking number by email as soon as it leaves the warehouse.
What if it is not right for my pet?
You have 30 days from delivery to return it. Change-of-mind returns need to be unused and in the original packaging, and you cover the postage back to us. If it arrives faulty or damaged we replace or refund it and cover the return shipping.
