Despite the complex nature of cats, women have always gotten along with them, giving them the most honorable place in the house. No matter how the cat behaves, it is always a woman who is glad to have her in the house and will never harm her for anything. And yet cats, according to numerous legends and traditions, not only served as domestic decorations, but also protected the dwelling from all sorts of dangers. As French zoologists found out, just as women more often choose cats as companions than any other animals, so cats prefer representatives of the fairer sex.
Another reason for such priority may be that women are much more inclined than men to tactile contact. With rare exceptions, we always reach out first to our fluffy friends to pat them on the head or scratch them behind the ear, and both women and cats show the same dependency here. Both enjoy cuddles, gentle treatment, purring, and above all - warmth. Moreover, women often have a much softer and more melodious voice than the opposite sex.
The third and most important quality inherent in both women and cats is tolerance. While men are mostly dissatisfied with the animal's weak attention to themselves, women, on the contrary, show understanding, intuitively sensing what the animal wants at the moment. And cats, scientists assure us, fervently respect this quality!
In addition to all else, cats cannot stand any kind of violence - they are almost never able to distinguish between inflicting pain for good (treatment) and genuine cruelty. The problem is that most veterinarians are men, and cats are vengeful creatures who sometimes cannot forget how they were treated for a long time.
But in reality, the question still lies in the individual preferences of your pet, so do not be surprised if the cat unexpectedly recognizes the owner in your husband. After all, cats, besides everything else, are mischievous creatures and are sometimes ready to play for hours like little kittens, and as is well known, men are also children at heart.
